Las Vegas--EngineQuest (EQ) has introduced new conversion rear main seal holders for 1986 to present Chevrolet engines in V6 262 CID and V8 small block applications. The holders enable engine rebuilders to install a two-piece seal design crankshaft in a one-piece seal design application.
Featuring billet aluminum construction, the conversion rear main seal holders are precision CNC machined. The products are available in either an early style oil pan or a late style oil pan design. Locator dowels are included with the holders to prevent rear main seal leaks. EQ offers an optional alignment tool to help complete the installation.
