Challenger Lifts announces release of EnviroLift, an air- and water-powered in-ground lift
RSS Feed

Louisville, Ky. -- Challenger Lifts now offers repair shop owners another way to go green.  The AV1020WV EnviroLift, powered by air and water instead of oil and electricity found in traditional hydraulic lifts, will be available Jan. 1.

The AV1020WV runs on compressed air and tap water, Challenger Lifts officials said.  The lifting mechanisms are accessible from the surface and require minimal maintenance--grease four fittings once a year.

AV1020WV works with no environmental, maintenance, and corrosion problems that typically occur with traditional in-ground lifts.  Since it's powered by air pressure, there are no noisy, energy-consuming motors, which saves money on installation costs.

The EnviroLift features:

•Large 8-1/4-inch double-walled, anodized aluminum pistons that provide stability and corrosion-resistance.

•Air-actuated water control valve for positive ascent and descent.

Challenger Lifts' in-ground EnviroLift is powered by water and air instead of the oil and electricity that drive traditional hydraulic lifts.
•An 80-inch rise and descent capability that provides maximum head room for working underneath vehicles.

•Versymmetric three-stage arms that lift both symmetrically and asymmetrically within the same service bay to maximize service capabilities and revenue potential.

•A drive-through width of 87 inches that allows easy vehicle drive-on.

•Double Telescoping Screw Pads reach multiple vehicle pickup point heights that reduce the need for adapters.

powered access are usually the tallest of all cranes. However, they do not feature portable base and parts need to be assembled. These cranes are largely applied to build tall structures and skyscrapers. Primarily exploited for the cutting down of workload, cranes can also perform lots of jobs including moving, digging and creating.
