Southfield, Mich.—A new version of the popular Fel-Pro Torque Tables cylinder head torque specifications guide for engine rebuilders and underhood service professionals is now available from Federal-Mogul Corp.

Federal-Mogul is the manufacturer of Fel-Pro gaskets, as well as a full range of additional engine, sealing, braking, steering, and service solutions for the automotive, performance, and commercial vehicle markets.

The 2009 Fel-Pro Torque Tables guide has been expanded with more than 400 more engine applications than the previous guide and includes comprehensive cylinder head specifications and diagrams for domestic and global-nameplate engines up to and including the 2008 model year.

Each application-based torque specification and diagram is based on research conducted by Federal-Mogul engineering teams.  Fel-Pro Torque Tables presents up-to-date specifications and diagrams for each application rather than consolidating specifications for similar engine models.

That more detailed approach helps ensure easier and more accurate user research and prevent potential mistakes during engine assembly.

Also included for each application are head bolt requirements and recommendations, as well as the corresponding Fel-Pro head bolt set part numbers, enabling the user to quickly identify the right bolt set for any cylinder head repair.

Federal-Mogul is offering the complete Fel-Pro Torque Tables guide as a free downloadable PDF file through the Fel-Pro brand’s technician-focused www.felpro-only.com Web site. Professionals also can order a printed version on the site.
