Southfield, Mich.--The innovative Carter CV1000 Fuel Pump Electrical Circuit Verifier is available with a free bonus pack of accessories, training materials and premium items through June 30, 2009.

The Carter CV1000 is an essential tool for any technician working on fuel system-related repairs.  Affordable and easy to use, the Carter CV1000 tool allows a technician to conduct a comprehensive fuel pump circuit test in a matter of seconds.  To check the fuel pump electrical circuit, the user simply connects the Carter CV1000 to the vehicle’s fuel pump electrical harness, turns the key in the ignition and monitors the tool’s “Pass/Fail” indicators.  If the circuit fails the test, there is an electrical problem that is preventing proper operation of the fuel pump.

The base tool kit includes three application-specific adaptor harnesses for Ford, Chrysler and GM vehicles.  The free bonus pack, valued at nearly $50, includes two optional vehicle harness connectors for late-model GM applications, an interactive Carter diagnostic training DVD, and one pair of Ringers Authentic mechanic’s gloves.

Carter CV1000 tools sold during the promotional period come in a specially marked storage case promoting the free bonus kit packed inside.  These specially marked cases allow distributors to run their own CV1000 promotional programs while supplies last.  Technician promotional sheets are available from Federal-Mogul sales representatives and through the online publications menu within Federal-Mogul’s FMeConnect Web Order Management system.
