Inland's heavy-duty bearing support gives long life, smooth operation

Ontario, Calif.--The High Impact Bearing Support from Inland Empire Driveline Service is ideally suited to high-performance and heavy-duty truck applications.
Designed as a direct replacement for the stock driveshaft center-bearing support, the High Impact Bearing Support features a steel outer case with a tough, polyurethane-cushioned center bearing to control low-gear driveshaft shudder as well as driveshaft vibration under heavy torque loads.
Made in the USA, the High Impact Bearing Support requires no driveshaft modification and is engineered to deliver longer life and smoother operation than the original part.
Applications for pickup trucks as well as light- and heavy-duty trucks are available.
Kelderman introduces 4-inch lift kit options for the 2008 Ford F-450
Oskaloosa, Iowa--Kelderman Manufacturing has developed air and nonair lift kits for the 450 Ford Super Duty, giving the consumer more options than ever for the class 4 truck.
The more affordable nonair system provides coil spacers, a new Kelderman-designed pitman arm, panhard bar drop, lower trailing arm brackets, steering stabilizer kit, shock adapters and all hardware
Matched with the nonair rear kit option that includes blocks, u-bolts, brake lines and all hardware, the truck can easily run a larger 35-inch tire.
The front and rear systems can be purchased separately or together and does not include shocks. The rear nonair system retails for $300 and requires two Bilstein 5150 shocks. The front nonair system retails for $1,500 and requires two Bilstein 5150 shocks and two steering stabilizer shocks, both available through Kelderman as options.
For the ultimate in over-the-road cab comfort, easier loading and towing capacity, consider adding Kelderman's 4-inch air ride in the rear, the front, or rear. Towing with an F-450 for long distances can be a lot more comfortable with 100 percent cushioned air support. With no loss to load capacity, Kelderman offers two rear air options that can be matched with air or nonair front systems.
Fidanza offers its Nissan 350z and Infinity G35 and G37 twin-disc clutches
Perry, Ohio--Fidanza has expanded its line of performance twin-disc clutches with applications for the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 and G37.

Fidanza twin-disc clutches are engineered to tackle up to 900 lb.-ft. of torque while stock pedal pressure is virtually unchanged and engagement feels as smooth as a typical Stage 3 single-disc clutch.
Using smaller 8 3/4-inch-diameter discs, Fidanza has carefully controlled the rotating mass of its clutches--while maintaining a sizable surface area for optimum gripping power--which perform better due to their relative low moment of inertia. As a result, the transmission is able to rev faster, which allows for rapidly matched transmission shifts.
Fidanza has also strapped the floater plate on all of its clutches to eliminate the annoying rattle that twin-disc units are known for.
Precision Fleet Brakes introduces cryogenic brake technology for fleets
Austin, Texas,--Precision Fleet Brakes has introduced cryogenic brake technology for fleet vehicles as a way to treat brake pads and rotors through the use of very low temperatures. Cryogenically processed brake components have a life up to four times longer than original equipment.
"When you consider the longer life of our products and factor in the reduced downtime and replacement costs, you actually gain a 40 percent lower per-mile cost in parts and a 60 percent lower per-mile cost in labor," said Zane McCarthy, president and CEO of Precision Fleet Brakes.
Precision Fleet Brakes conforms to or exceeds the material specs of SAE J431 and SAE G3000.
