TIA releases Spanish-language TPMS training program

Bowie, Md.--The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced the release of the Spanish-language version of the 200 Level Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) Training Program.

The Spanish version is identical to the English version, which covers the types of sensors, identifying them on the vehicle, proper procedures for mounting and demounting tires with TPMS, and some relearn procedures.

The program consists of videos and workbooks, and each student who successfully passes the 40-question exam receives a TIA Certificate of Completion.

"The Hispanic population represents the nation's largest minority group, and we are pleased to provide a solution to help our members meet the growing demand for Spanish-language training programs," said TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield.
