This Month: Dealership Parts & Service / Light Truck & 4X4
October: Collision Repair / Suspension, Alignment, Ride Control & Tires
We have created an online resource, www.partsandpeople.com, that is an extension of our popular print publication Parts & People. It combines our monthly media content and insightful industry news from all six regional editions with special features such as directories, association listings, product announcements, track listings, and specialized Web segments including Motorsports, Offroad, and Training/Education segments.
Beginning with a re-launch in October, 2008, the site will present and make available new resources. Included in the updated site will be professional communities, Web 2.0 business profiles, business/social media interaction, integrated article tools, forums, surveys, and user interaction. With Web video capability, our new Training segment will be able to provide training sessions in a variety of venues. From academic scholarships to motorsports sponsorships, helpful directories and networked business profiles will provide opportunities on many levels.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we will contact you about participating in the new community. Free business profiles will allow you and your company to take part in forums, index services, and participate in business community chat, surveys, classified ads, and more.
We intend to provide vehicle parts and service industry participants and interested parties associated with or tangent to the industry a new, on-line common space in which to share, network, and remain aware. The new site will provide an additional dimension of information, resources and offer a unique opportunity for vertically integrated marketing by region, by industry segment, special interest, and beyond.
Parts & People, the print publication, is well-read, respected, and industry supportive. We intend to demonstrate the same sense of purpose and dedication on the Web site.
Parts & People is a trade-only publication whose goal is to provide news, information, and insightful business profiles to automotive businesses with the purpose of sharing and cultivating good, ethical, and profitable business practices. The tabloid publication is supported solely by advertising revenues and does not sell its mail list nor charge for its editorial coverage.
Published in Mountain, Midwest, River Valley, Southern California, Northern California, and Northwest Editions, Parts & People is the primary operation of Automotive Counseling and Publishing Company, Inc., a Colorado corporation founded in 1986. AC&PC is headquartered in Denver, Colo., and maintains region offices in Omaha, Neb., Kansas City, Mo., San Francisco, Calif., and Seattle, Wash.
