Carrie Wurth of Enterprise Leasing of Alton, along with other colleagues, joined with Andy's Auto Body for a softball tournament to help raise awareness for the Glen Ed Pantry "You Raise Me Up" campaign and to help pay off the $105,000 building loan. In all, four Enterprise Leasing offices, from Glen Carbon, Highland, Granite City, and East Alton, as well as two Andy's Auto Body locations, were involved in the softball competition on Nov. 3.

Lou Fusz Dodge is up and running at its new location, 3480 Highway K in O'Fallon. Tom Welz is the parts manager. The new building is home to new Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep stores. Welz said the new facility sits on 10 acres and that the building is 38,454 square feet.
AMS Automotive in Fenton is celebrating 20 years in business. AMS began operations in September 1987 with five employees in an 8,500-square-foot facility on Cassens Drive. Today, AMS has more than 40 full-time employees at the Fenton headquarters and covers more than 50,000 square feet. AMS also has distribution facilities in Los Angeles, Newark, and Toronto.
Mike Moehlenkamp, the new owner of Gary's Auto Service in Florissant, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with representatives from the Florissant Valley Chamber of Commerce. Gary's Auto Service is at 1779 N. Highway 67.
Brian and Kristi Kirk of Cassville began operating B&K Auto Body, formerly known as Accident Affixed, on Oct. 1. B&K Auto Body offers complete auto body service.
Workers at Chrysler North Assembly in Fenton voted overwhelmingly against a proposed national contract. Members of UAW Local 110, which represents about 2,000 workers who build Dodge Ram pickups, voted about 4-to-1 against the agreement. More than 1,400 members cast ballots.
Dave Mungenast North County Hyundai is now open at 8917 Dune Road in Hazelwood. A former service mechanic, Dave Mungenast Sr., founded what became the Dave Mungenast Automotive Family in 1965. "We focus first on customer service," said Kurt Mungenast, president of Mungenast North County Hyundai and one of three Mungenast sons now overseeing the family business.
Hail Yeah! Is celebrating one year in business in downtown Bourbon. Bill Strosnider Jr. and his wife, Jessica, own and run the business.
Five auto shops in Franklin County are now licensed to perform emissions testing: -They are Barreth Chrysler Center, Carriage Care, and Chris Auffenberg Ford in Washington and Barreth Ford and Jim Trenary in Union.
