Mahle Clevite first to market with engine kits for the Mercedes-Benz 2.7 Liter OM612DE used in Dodge and Freightliner Sprinter vans
RSS Feed

Ann Arbor, Mich.--In an effort to provide customers with the latest applications Mahle Clevite has released both inframe rebuild kits and full overhaul engine kits for the popular Mercedes-Benz 2.7 Liter OM612DE engine used in Sprinter vans.

The 8 new kits address the specific requirements of tapered or straight connecting rods and reduced compression height that insure that the proper compression ratio is maintained when the engine requires oversized pistons.

These kits include everything you need to do an inframe rebuild or full overhaul with pistons, rings, rod bearings, and main bearings.  The inframe kit includes head gasket set and pan change gaskets and the overhaul kit includes a head gasket set and a complete lower gasket set.

The parts offering for this engine is not limited to just the parts that come in the engine kits.  Mahle Clevite also offers for this engine many of the individual gaskets, head bolts, rod bushings, and valve train parts.

Visit www.mahleclevite.com and click on "Heavy Duty Engine Kit Search" to see the complete list of parts that the new engine kits include.
