Auto Club Speedway Gears up for Labor Day's Pepsi 500 with New Team Members

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. -- Auto Club Speedway welcomes new team members to gear up for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series' Pepsi 500 during Labor Day Weekend- August 29-31, 2008.

 

"It's a bit cliché to say that it is people who make the place, but cliché's exist for a reason. The addition of this talented and diverse group of individuals will enhance an already extremely talented team for the betterment of the race fan experience," shares Auto Club Speedway President Gillian Zucker.

 

Aron Giannini- Director of Entertainment Integration

 

Giannini's responsibilities, as Director of Entertainment Integration, include programming and activating the entertainment for both Auto Club Speedway NASCAR races, the Camping World RV Service 300 Presented by Coleman and the Pepsi 500; initiating programs to integrate the Hollywood community with the Speedway; and integrating NASCAR Drivers in film and TV projects. Before joining the Auto Club Speedway, Giannini was a successful Talent Agent for Beverly Hills talent agencies The Collective, Paradigm Talent Agency and 3 Arts Entertainment.

 

Rhonda Brown- Director of Accounting

 

Responsibilities as Auto Club Speedway Director of Accounting include the preparation, review and communication of financial statements. Brown also plays a key role in the development and execution of the Auto Club's strategic initiatives. Before joining the Speedway, Brown was the Divisional CFO for a large publicly traded homebuilder.

 

Joann D. Young, Public Relations Manager

 

Young is responsible for all public relations efforts for the Speedway. Prior joining the Auto Club Speedway, she enjoyed a career in the radio industry being responsible for media and community relations, to marketing and advertising, to producing programs that targeted varying demographics.

 

Ashley Chalk- Group Sales Ticket Manager

 

As Group Sales Ticket Manager, Chalk will manage the Group Sales team at Auto Club Speedway with the goal to build relationships with Southern California businesses by educating, creating awareness and demonstrating value as to why Speedway events are unique for any group to experience in Southern California. Prior joining the Auto Club Speedway, Chalk was the Regional Accounts Manager at sister track, Daytona International Speedway.

 

Brandon Rollings, Corporate Account Executive, Displays and Promotions

 

As Corporate Account Executive for Displays and Promotions, Rollings oversees all aspects of displays during NASCAR and AMA Superbike events. Rollings joins Auto Club Speedway after working with Stater Bros. Merchandising.
