Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance intakes, filters, manifolds and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their Stage 2 Air Intake System for the 2006-08 BMW E60 M5 and E63/E64 M6 with the V10-5.0L motor part number 54-11272 and 51-11272.

aFe stage 2 air intake system utilizes two specially designed intake tubes that are designed to maximize air velocity and improve horsepower, torque and throttle response. This system also includes air diverters that maximize airflow without triggering check engine lights. 54-11272 includes the patented Pro-5R filter, which utilizes 5 layers of progressive cotton media that produces excellent filtration and maximum flow. 51-11272 includes the brand new Pro Dry S filter, which uses a synthetic media, which requires no oil to recharge for maximum convenience.

In recent testing, part number 54-11272 produced 28hp and 24ft. lbs. of torque and 117% more air flow than the factory intake.

Part Number 54-11272 has an MSRP of $743.75 and is available in stores now.
Part Number 51-11272 has an MSRP of $737.50 and is available in stores now.
