Rostra Rearsight back-up camera available for 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra
RSS Feed

Laurinburg, N.C. - A RearSight back-up camera system for 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierras is now available from Rostra Precision Controls Inc.

"Rostra's new system is designed to assist drivers in avoiding back-up accidents by providing excellent depth of field and a 150-degree view behind the truck," said Sibyl Ringsdorf, manager of marketing and national accounts, Rostra Precision Controls Inc.  "Plus, we've designed the Silverado/Sierra RearSight kit to complement the interior and exterior aesthetics of these new trucks."

The RearSight kit features a 0.5 Lux shrouded CCD color camera that mounts discretely into the truck's tailgate latch.  The camera comes with an anti-fog lens, a waterproof case and a 30-foot extension harness.

In addition, the kit's 3.5-inch TFT monitor is designed to mount in the truck's coin box location for a clean look.  The screen has dual video inputs (navigation, interior camera or DVD) and provides a wide-angle view with reverse override.

Professional installation is recommended for Rostra's RearSight kit and typically takes less than 30 minutes.
