Cool your compacts with Spal fans
RSS Feed

Ankeny, Iowa--Turbochargers, high-lift camshafts and power chips all may increase the performance of your potent sport compact, but is your cooling system keeping pace?  Give your radiator an assist with a Spal USA electric cooling fan.

Spal fans are the original equipment choice for many of the world's top automakers - including Maserati and Ferrari.  The truth is, you can equip your low-displacement four-banger with the same technology, be it an Eclipse, EVO VIII, Integra, Impreza, ION, CRX, NSX, RSX, 240SX, RX-7, 350Z, xA, xB, tC, Neon, Focus, G5, GTI, Supra, Sentra, Skyline, Camry, Corolla, Cobalt, Celica, or Civic (and your car, which we surely missed).

Fans ranging from 9- to 16-inches are available in a variety of push or pull, straight, paddle or curved blade, medium or low profile, standard, high, or extreme performance configurations to suit your particular under hood (and cash flow) scenario.  And because picking the right fan will require more insight than your seat cover selection (Zebra velour, really?!), tech reps with all the right answers are readily.

The reason Spal fans are regarded so highly is because Spal controls almost every aspect of their engineering and assembly.  Many other fans are pieced together from a variety of different vendors.  Spal, however, oversees all the steps - from the design and tooling of the injection molds to the winding of each motor.

Spal also relentlessly tests its fans.  They're subjected to extreme environmental conditions (-20°F to 180°F) and those sporting sealed motors are fully submerged in water to ensure you can't do anything to them that hasn't already been done.

The end result is an electric cooling fan that is just what you need to keep your trick ride a treat to drive.  And it's likely the only fan you'll ever buy, as most outlive the vehicle they're installed in.

You can drop a few hundred for new seat covers (honestly, you should think about it) or for something that really matters.  Your radiator will thank you.

Spal fans are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for three years from date of sale to the original purchaser.
