Damar Truck Deck introduces Workman series
RSS Feed

Parker, Colo.--The just-introduced Damar Truck Deck Workman Series features up to six lockable storage compartments, depending on bed length, and is constructed of durable aluminum diamond plate in varying thicknesses from light-duty .080" to super-duty .1875".

Designed to fit the exact size and shape of the bed it is installed in, each of the Truck Deck's weather-resistant compartments is secured with rotary T-handle latches and sealed with a neoprene rubber gasket.

"Inside the compartments are removable polyethylene containers with optional rear drawer-slide capability," said David Martin, CEO of Damar Corp. LLC.  "This is why contractors love the Damar Truck Deck--it makes organizing your gear more convenient than ever.

Pack one bin with drills, a second with screws, and still another with extension cords; lock the bins inside a compartment and you're ready to go," Martin said.  "Or, for large items, simply use the compartment space without a container.  It's just like having a tool chest for a truck bed."

And if professionals have items or equipment loaded on top of the deck, simply lift the rear hatch, pull out the rear sliding drawer containers and remove only the tools needed without unloading unnecessary gear.

Damar Truck Deck has introduced a truck bed storage and organization system.

The Damar Truck Deck--supported by a heavy-duty aluminum tubular frame that extends to the sidewalls of the bed--can also be used as a hauling surface to maximize the bed's storage capacity.  Ladders and additional equipment can be easily attached to the deck via Cargo Cleats or heavy-duty adjustable slide-track tie-downs.

A rear hatch, operated effortlessly with gas spring assistance, further allows full use of the bed length.

A polished, nonskid, or color-matched powder-coated surface finish is available as part of the Workman Series, which includes up to six polyethylene storage containers with lids as well as two full-width separator panels with fasteners.

Unlike typical truck tool boxes and drawer storage systems, the Truck Deck's storage containers can be easily removed and taken into the job site, preventing unnecessary trips to and from the truck to get material needed for the job.

Owners can choose to install the separator panels (in lieu of storage compartments) for more cargo management configuration options.

The Damar Truck Deck Workman Series is available for late-model Chevrolet/GMC, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, and Toyota pickups.  Installation and removal is a quick and simple process requiring no tools and no assistance.
