Grand American Modifieds Scheduled to Make a September Stop at the Madera Speedway
RSS Feed

After pleasing the crowd with wheel to wheel racing action at the Madera
Speedway on August 9th, the Grand American Modifieds will return in style
on September 13th as part of the act in this Fan Appreciation night at the
Madera Speedway.

"Once again we were very impressed with the quality of racing displayed by
the Modifieds on August 9th, and we feel the fans deserve to see the best in
racing on this special night designed for the race fan. So not only will we have
twin 50 lap shoot outs for the Late Models, we will also have a 50 lap
shootout for the Modifieds." Kenny Shepherd.

This is a special event for the Grand American Modifieds at the Madera
Speedway and features a 50 lap format paying $1,000.00 to win. There is
also a special set of rules for this event that have been designed by feedback
from many of the car owners in this division. Go to the schedule on the
Madera Speedway website and click on the link for the new rules for this
event.

The September 13th event will also feature the Western Late Models, the
American Limited Stock Cars, the Mini Super Toyotas, Toyota Sedans and
those crazy Hornets, as well as this 50 lap shoot out for the Pavement
Modifieds.

As mentioned above September 13th is fan appreciation night at the
Madera Speedway. This means every fan gets in the grandstands for free,
that's right, free! In addition to free admission each of the first 250 fans will
receive a NASCAR collectable pin, and if that is not enough the Madera
Speedway will have $5 racing hats and t-shirts for sale!

The Madera Speedway is conveniently located at the Madera County
Fairgrounds just off to the west side of Highway 99 at the Cleveland Avenue
exit. For more Madera Speedway information visit the track's website at
www.racemadera.com or call the Info/Race Line phone number at (559)

Series program go to www.spectatorracing.com on the web or call (209)
