Chico, Calif.--Transfer Flow has introduced a 50-gallon mid-chassis diesel fuel tank system for 1999-2008 Ford F350, F450, and F550 chassis cabs with 84-inch, 108-inch, and 120-inch cab-axle lengths, as well as some 60-inch cab-axle models.
The new tank can replace the smaller stock mid-chassis tank or be used as an auxiliary fuel system on chassis with an aft fuel tank.
Manufactured from 12- and 14-gauge aluminized steel and powder coated black, the new tank features baffles to further increase strength and to reduce fuel slosh.
The tank system comes with straps and all necessary mounting hardware, and auxiliary applications also include Transfer Flow's patented Trax-II operating system, which displays fuel volume and automatically transfers fuel between the two tanks.
