Federated announces winners of "Get Dirty with Kenny” promotion
RSS Feed

Staunton, Va.--It promises to be an exciting day on September 8 for several Federated Car Care Center members as they will get a chance to race NASCAR driver and dirt track legend Ken Schrader at Schrader's I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri.  The lucky "drivers" were chosen as winners in the first Federated "Get Dirty with Kenny" promotion.

"It should be a fun and memorable day for these guys," said J.R. Bishop, director of motorsports and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts.  "All of our members were really excited about this promotion and we want to thank Ken Schrader for letting us have use of his track on September 8.  Everyone is really looking forward to the racing, especially Kenny."

The winners of the contest are:
• Jason Shaeffer of Hatts Auto Repair, Mt. Joy, Pa.

• Darrell Burnette of B&S Automotive Service, Willis, Va.

• J.C. Lewis of JC Auto Repair, Versailles, Ky.

• Kyle Rohleder of Wakeeney Tire, Wakeeney, Kan.

• Robert McCommon Jr. of The Oil Connection, Fairfield, Calif.

In addition, the winners will be accompanied on the trip by their respective Federated member representative.

"This should be a great day and I am looking forward to teaching these guys some things about dirt track racing," said Schrader.  "However, if any of them get too cocky and think they are going to beat me, I will make sure they know the real meaning of 'dirt.'  I promise that these guys are going to have one their most fun days ever."

To be eligible to win a chance to "Get Dirty with Kenny," a shop must have been fully enrolled as a Federated Car Care Center member by July 15, 2008.  All Federated Car Care Center members in good standing were automatically registered to earn a chance to win the all-expense paid trip to I-55 Raceway.
