Newest Scion can benefit from a Fidanza flywheel
RSS Feed

Perry, Ohio--The brand-new, 128-horsepower 2008 Scion xD can be made even more potent with the addition of a Fidanza aluminum flywheel.

Designed with lighter outer edges to remove excess weight and dramatically improve acceleration, the Fidanza xD aluminum flywheel requires less horsepower to turn than the steel stock flywheel, meaning more horsepower can be transferred to the wheels.

Fidanza's aluminum flywheels are made from lightweight, high-quality machined 6061 T6 aluminum and feature a durable, high-carbon 1045 steel friction surface with CNC-machined fastener holes and chamfers.  The product is finished with a heat-treated ring gear and military-grade fasteners, and can be paired with almost any clutch disc material available - from organic to Kevlar(r) and even sintered iron.

Fidanza also offers flywheels designed specifically for the 2004-2006 Scion xA and xB 1.5L, 2008 xB 2.4L and 2005-2008 tC 2.4L.

And, new from Fidanza are clutch kits for the Scion xA, xB and tC, available in four levels from mild-to-wild (2.1; 3.2; 4.3; 5.4) to match driver preference and the performance level of the vehicle.
