Grand Island, Neb. -- NAPA's Omaha Distribution Center held a forum for AutoCare Collision Centers on April 5at the Holiday Inn–Interstate 80. "The purpose of this forum was to pass along some industry information and gather some feedback from our members about the program and possible enhancements," said Steve Drager, sales manager of NAPA Omaha.

About 30 people from across the state attended, including associated jobbers and owners and managers from AutoCare Collision Centers, along with Dennis Ducharme, senior market manager of PBE for NAPA Atlanta, and Terry Mann, director of AutoCare and Wholesale Marketing for NAPA Atlanta.
The forum started off with a continental breakfast and a welcome from John Randall, general manager of NAPA's Omaha Distribution Center. Boyd Dingman, owner of Dingman's Collision Center of Omaha, spoke about the industry updates.
The forum then held a focus group discussion on specific points:
- What does the NAPA collision program need to look like to make it a true partnership?
- What are the challenges for the collision shop today?
- What's important to you?
- What's absolutely critical to make the program work?
- What works for you in today's program?
The group broke for lunch, then continued with the focus discussion. Ducharme and Mann took notes to take back to NAPA headquarters in Atlanta. The forum closed with a recap of the top collision enhancements from the group.
