Iowa
     Sioux Falls-based Billion Auto plans to open Sioux City's first KIA franchise as early as late this year, President David Billion said. The company has purchased a 7-acre site along Singing Hills Boulevard.
Kansas
     The Crawford County Commission gave final approval to the site plans from Greg Evans, owner of Evans Motors in Girard, that would place a car lot at the intersection of Highway K-126 and Langdon Lane
     Noel Wilson of McPherson received his 2006 Quality Dealer Award from Dick Hasselwander of Auto Service Co. Wilson is the owner of McPherson Motors and has served his customers since 1983. Wilson also received awards from Auto Service in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
Missouri
     Corey Gordon plans to open Gordon Auto Body in Mound City. The new company will open in the former R&J Ford Building. Tim Smith, a longtime auto body employee at the former R&J Body Shop, is joining Gordon in the operation.
     Jack Miller Chrysler Jeep in Gladstoneheld a grand reopening on March 22.
Nebraska
     "We were very proud to have four of our Nebraska members graduate with their Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) degree from the Automotive Management Institute," said Jennah Haase, executive director of the Automotive Service Association of Nebraska. The graduates are, Michael Gordon, AAM, R&G Service Center Inc. Omaha; Rick Haley, AAM, Papillion Foreign Motors Inc., Papillion; Bryan Haase, AAM, The Local Garage, Lincoln; Greg Peterson, AAM Northwest CARSTAR, Omaha.
     Copple Chevrolet will relocate from Louisvilleto the Gretnaarea.
     Edie and Ewald Fehlhafer celebrate 50 years in business at Fehlhafer's Inc., anauto recycling and radiator rebuilding business that sits on 16 acres on the edge of Utica.
     Connie Hellbusch of Columbus has received the Athena Award, which is given each year to an outstanding business or professional woman in the area. The award is sponsored nationally by Chevrolet/Buick. Ernst Auto Center Inc. presented the award.
South Dakota
     Yankton's newest car dealer, Northtown Automotive, has received the General Motors Mark of Excellence for 2006. Northtown Automotive, which sells Chevrolet, Cadillac, and Buick, along with a wide range of used vehicles, is located at 3100 Broadway Ave. in Yankton.
