Morgan Community College's Fred Golemboski took first place in the Colorado SkillsUSA post-secondary collision repair contest. Collision repair skills include estimating, sheet metal repair, welding, plastic repair, and frame measurement.Colorado Springs--The 2008 SkillsUSA collision repair contest, held at Pikes Peak Community College on April 11, has added painting and refinishing repairs to its collision repair test series.  The primary reason for adding paint and refinishing was to create a test series that parallels those administered at the national SkillsUSA contest, said Richard Turner of PPG Industries, who headed the effort to design a test that would accurately measure student skills in the painting and refinishing category.
