Wheat Ridge, Colo.—The Automotive Service Association of Colorado (ASA-CO) hosted a professional development seminar on Aug. 18 titled “Fearless Business…Thriving in Times of Accelerated Change.”  The seminar was presented by Randy Ferguson.

Calgary, Alberta-–Jack Frederick, a senior at Pittsburg State University (PSU), Pittsburg, Kan., earned a silver medal in the Automotive Technology competition at the 40th WorldSkills Competition. In the Sept. 1-7 competition, Frederick’s TeamUSA competed against students from 27 other countries in the bi-annual event.

Denver–Now part of a 43-campus network that spans 17 states, the students at the Lincoln College of Technology’s Denver campus, formerly known as Denver Automotive Diesel College (DADC), are benefiting from a large-scale educational institution.

Denver—As the annual SkillsUSA regional and state competitions quickly approach this spring, several tool and equipment and parts vendors who support the event told Parts & People about the importance and significance of participating and the reasons they do.

Windsor, Colo.--Aims Community College recently completed construction of a 45,000-square-foot technology building for their automotive programs.  The facility, located at 1120 S. Gate Drive, houses the college’s Automotive Service Technology and Collision Repair Technology programs. 

Denver--A variety of presentations, round-table discussions, and exhibits welcomed more than 150 automotive parts and service industry attendees on Jan. 30 at the PPA Event Center in Denver.
