Kansas automotive technology student brings home silver from WorldSkills Competition


Calgary, Alberta-–Jack Frederick, a senior at Pittsburg State University (PSU), Pittsburg, Kan., earned a silver medal in the Automotive Technology competition at the 40th WorldSkills Competition. In the Sept. 1-7 competition, Frederick’s TeamUSA competed against students from 27 other countries in the bi-annual event.

Aims Community College officials construct building for automotive programs


Windsor, Colo.--Aims Community College recently completed construction of a 45,000-square-foot technology building for their automotive programs.  The facility, located at 1120 S. Gate Drive, houses the college’s Automotive Service Technology and Collision Repair Technology programs.
