ASCCA announces corporate sponsorship of O’Reilly Auto Parts

Sacramento, Calif.—The Automotive Service Councils of California (ASCCA) has announced its recent corporate sponsorship with O’Reilly Auto Parts.

“O’Reilly Auto Parts is a household name, both for us in the automotive service industry and for anyone who has ever needed fixes for their vehicles,” said John Eppstein, ASCCA Revenue and Benefits Committee chair. “ASCCA and O’Reilly share the same commitment to California’s motorists, and we are proud to have their support.”

Jody Mayfield, O’Reilly Auto Parts professional sales development manager, said, “We rely heavily on local field input when making decisions as a company on sponsorships and affiliations.”

Part of the evaluation is based upon industry relevance and involvement, and more importantly, the volume and caliber of membership quality, he said.

“We have been monitoring and in contact with ASCCA for many years and we’re familiar with the quality of its members, as they are also some of our best customers in the markets we service.”

The goal of O’Reilly’s ASCCA affiliation is to not just be a national sponsor with its name on the wall, but to become more involved with the local chapters, Mayfield added.

“This will help us gain insight about specific market conditions, industry insight, and recommendations of what we can do to better partner with these shop owners to help equip their businesses to continue to succeed. We are excited about the opportunity and look forward to growing with the ASCCA.”

Stacey Siqueiros, ASCCA vendor relations specialist, added, “O’Reilly Auto Parts has been dedicated to the professional since 1957 and ASCCA members that choose to partner with O’Reilly have access to industry-leading service center programs allowing shops to offer a nationwide warranty on most of the repairs they perform every day, a nationwide road-hazard tire warranty, shop management training, nationwide roadside assistance, technician training classes, competitive pricing, early-pay discounts, and electronic ordering discounts.”
