Recently Driven: Performance and style are trademarks of Acura ILX

Addressing the entry-level luxury sedan market, Acura has offered its all-new 2013 ILX, smaller and more affordable than its upscale TSX model. Though based on the popular Honda Civic, the ILX is a bit longer and wider and is certainly more stylish, has more technical features, and handles more elegantly.

With one body style, the ILX is available in six models that range from three five-speed automatic (with sequential SportShift and paddle shifters) and one six-speed manual transmission offerings, to two hybrid models.
