Aluminum XE. On Sept. 8, in London, Jaguar will stage the world premier of its XE model that features an all-new modular architecture developed around a fifth-generation of bonded and riveted aluminum technology used on XJ, XK, and F-Type models. The compact sports sedan has a new aluminum alloy, RC 5754, developed specifically for the XE that uses a high percentage of recycled aluminum to reduce energy consumption.
