Recently re-elected APSA-IL president wants state to be more business friendly

Carbondale, Ill.—Clinton “Wain” Taylor, a partner in Mac-Weld Inc., became president of APSA-IL in September 2012. Taylor was APSA-IL also president in 2010-11, and is the first person to serve two terms as president. He said his goals for are straightforward — increase membership and continue to be a strong lobbying voice in Springfield, Ill., for the automotive industry.  The association represents both automotive parts and service companies because the combined  representation gives the group more lobbying clout, he said.
