Educator Think Tank panelists offer advice, strategies for engaging the technicians of tomorrow

     Overland Park, Kan.—The best of today’s automotive technology programs blend new approaches to recruiting and educating students, and rely on the active involvement of advisory committees and local shop owners.

That was the main takeaway from discussions at the all-day ASA-Midwest Vision Educator Think Tank on March 7, at the Overland Park Convention Center   

The challenge of engaging students enrolled in automotive technology programs was a major focus of the day’s discussions.
