Larry H. Miller Dealerships Celebrates 10th Annual Day of Service by Giving Back to Colorado Communities

DENVER(April 19, 2019) – On Friday, April 26, nearly 300 employees representing all 13 Larry H. Miller dealerships throughout Colorado will volunteer during the company-wide annual Day of Service to honor and continue the legacy of the company’s founder on his birthday. This year’s event will occur just days before the company’s 40th anniversary on May 1.
Larry H. Miller, who passed away in 2009, believed what’s important isn’t what you receive but what you give.  As a result, he created a legacy of “going about doing good” in the communities where he did business. Since 2010, more than 11,740 employees have donated over 45,965 hours at more than 200 locations in seven states. Additionally, Larry H. Miller Charities has donated more than $900,000 to qualified nonprofits throughout Colorado since 1997, supporting their day-to-day work that directly impacts residents and communities.
“One of the greatest gifts we can give is support and service to the communities where we work and live,” said Ray Reilly, senior vice president, Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “Our employees are not only proud but honored to be able to give their time on this day and throughout the year to help enrich the lives of others.”
Charities and organizations that will benefit from the Annual Day of Service events:
