Moreland Auto Group to Add Four Brands to Motorplex at Centerra
LOVELAND, Colo. — McWHINNEY, Colorado-based real estate investor and developer with expertise in commercial, mixed-use, hospitality and multifamily assets and master developer of Centerra, joins Moreland Auto Group in announcing the planned addition of four car brands to Loveland’s Motorplex at Centerra. Moreland Auto Group recently purchased a 15-acre parcel at the Motorplex at Centerra with plans to operate a four-brand dealership.
Moreland Auto Group, headed by “Dealin’ Doug” Moreland, will build a regional Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and RAM dealership at the southern end of the Motorplex at Centerra, bordering Interstate 25. With the four-brand dealership currently in the design phase, Moreland Auto Group is targeting a spring 2021 project completion.
The move will expand the offerings at the Motorplex at Centerra, bringing the total number of new car brands from eight to 12 in addition to used-car retailer CarMax. Located off Interstate 25 and Crossroads Boulevard within Centerra’s 3,000-acre master-planned community in Loveland, the Motorplex at Centerra is home to the largest selection of new and used cars and trucks in northern Colorado, with more than 100 acres of automotive retail and service space.

Founded in 1980, Moreland Auto Group has eight dealerships along Colorado’s Front Range, one in Wyoming, two in Las Vegas and one in Arizona.
The Motorplex at Centerra features full-service auto dealers from leading manufacturers. Current dealerships in operation include MINI of Loveland, Mercedes-Benz of Loveland, Subaru of Loveland, King Buick GMC, Davidson-Gebhardt Chevrolet, Crossroads Hyundai of Loveland, Co’s BMW Center and CarMax Loveland.
