SATAjet 5000 Phaser ‘made for special moments’
Spring Valley, Minn.—The SATAjet 5000 B Phaser (wwww.sata.com) is “made for special moments,” according to the company, with a unique look from the Porsche Design Studio using high-quality materials and sophisticated technical solutions unusual for a piece of spray equipment. Its technology is identical to that of the existing SATAjet 5000 B, using the same nozzle and other proven technical features which already define it as an outstanding spray gun, and is available as an HVLP or RP gun. According to the company, the optimized shape of the gun handle allows the spray gun to fit perfectly in the palm of the hand. Robust but still low in weight, the spray gun offers a perfect combination of ease of application and durability.
DIY 3M headlight restoration kit restores clarity
St. Paul, Minn.—Plastic headlight lenses are lightweight and durable but can yellow and haze over time, limiting visibility and diminishing the appearance and value of the vehicle. 3M Auto’s (www.3mauto.com) Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit uses drill-activated sanding in a four-step process to help improve headlight clarity.
“Our new Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit allows drivers to improve luminosity of their headlights by up to 200 percent,” 3M Auto Global Marketing Manager Darcy Backman said. “The drill-activated sanding makes heavy restoration fast and easy.”
The new kit works easily on most plastic lenses, including taillights, trailers, snowmobiles, emergency vehicle light bars, plastic motorcycle lights, and more, and includes a disc pad holder, 500-grit Gold sanding discs, 800-grit white finishing discs, 3,000-grit gray Trizact refining disc, rubbing compound, synthetic wax protectant, compounding pad, and masking tape.
