CIF reports success at 9th annual gala fundraiser

Event raises funds for industry members affected by natural disaster or catastrophe

Mechanicsville, Va.—The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) held its ninth annual gala fundraiser in Palm Springs, Calif., alongside the Collision Industry Conference, where attendees set new records.

Gala guests were able to participate in a raffle and silent auction featuring many items, donated by companies and individuals, such as electronics from Apple and Bose, custom art work, a Chip Foose-signed picture, a NASCAR package as well as vouchers for I-CAR and AMI training classes.

The gala was successful in raising funds for the mission of CIF. The foundation’s major focus has been the Collision Industry Relief Fund to assist collision repair professionals who have lost their livelihoods from a natural disaster or other catastrophe. Most recently benefiting from this were victims from the wildfires in California.

Commenting to the success of the event, Cheryl Boswell, CFO at DCR Systems and CIF treasurer said, “Our donors — companies and individuals — see the value of the foundation’s work and continue to support us. We are grateful for their support so we may continue serving those in our industry impacted by natural disasters.”

CIF’s vision is to bring awareness and emergency relief to Collision Repair Professionals. Anyone in need from the industry, can be directed to the CIF website www.collisionindustryfoundation.org. To donate or to learn more about CIF’s current projects, visit the CIF website.
