MOTOSHOP Technology Tools to award $10,000 technology makeover

Roanoke, Va.—MOTOSHOP Technology Tools has launched a contest for commercial garages and repair shops that will award one grand-prize winner up to $10,000 in new technology equipment and services to provide a shop technology makeover. Shops interested in entering the contest can submit their entry – a written response in 300 words or less detailing how you see technology improving your business and why your shop could benefit from a technology makeover – through July 31. See Official Rules at www.motoshop.com/contests.

“We want to help shops adapt to the rapid changes in technology that are influencing the aftermarket,” said Walter Scott, senior vice president, chief marketing officer for Advance Auto Parts. “We’re excited to launch this second MOTOSHOP contest as we continue to find ways to help shops serve their customers more effectively.”

One grand-prize winner will receive up to $10,000 in new shop technology such as computers, tablets, printers, network hardware, online services and showroom TVs. Exact prize components will be determined following an assessment by Advance’s sponsor of a shop’s existing technology. The grand-prize winner will also receive a year-long subscription to the technology services provided by MOTOSHOP, including MotoSHOP Shop Management System, MotoREV Shop Marketing, MotoLOGIC Repair & Diagnostics and MotoSKILL Shop Tech Training.

In addition to one grand-prize recipient, MOTOSHOP will also award second- and third-place prize packages including:

Second place: One-year subscription to MOTOSHOP Technology Tools, including MotoSHOP Shop Management System, MotoREV, MotoLOGIC and MotoSKILL
Third place: One-year subscription to MotoLOGIC and MotoREV
