The 33rd annual Lewiston Hot August Nights (LHAN) is set for Aug. 22-24, in downtown Lewiston. This event features cruises, judged classic car shows, vendors, music, art, and more.      The 56th annual Ignite the Nights event will be Aug. 15-17, in Libby. Presented by the Igniters Car Club, the oldest active car club in the state, the three-day event is the largest of its kind in Montana.      The Grand Prix of Portland – IndyCar Series – is Aug. 30-Sept. 1, at Portland International Raceway (PIR). Part of a weeklong festival, hundreds of cars and trucks will race in four events that include the only Indy Car races in the Northwest (NTT IndyCar Series and Road to Indy), the Battery Tender Global Mazda MX-5 Cup, and the Stadium SUPER Trucks. WASHINGTON

     A car reunion for past customers of Bud’s Machine & Engine Shop in Lakewood is set for Aug. 18, at Spanaway Lake Park in Spanaway. The family of Donald “Bud” Williams is inviting wholesale and retail customers of the machine shop over the past several decades to bring their hot rods, race cars, street rods, and daily drivers to the park from 10 a.m. to dusk to honor the machining and engine work Williams has provided over the years to hundreds of customers.      Larry H. Miller Lexus in Spokane has been named a J.D. Power 2019 Dealer of Excellence.
