Industry history?

“I have been with Lou Fusz Automotive Group for 31 years, when I started with Lou Fusz Pontiac in June of 1988 as parts driver. I delivered parts for two years, then moved into the wholesale office doing the clerical work, parts ordering, billing, etc. While there, I learned how to look up parts and answer phones. In 1995, I was made a counterman and took care of wholesale and our body shop I became the parts manager at Lou Fusz Buick GMC in January.



“I like pretty much anything outdoors and water-related, such as fishing and boating, but my latest venture is scuba diving. I’ve always enjoyed swimming and snorkeling and seeing all the beauty underwater.

“It had always been the Corvette, but I’ve changed my mind and it is currently the 2015 GMC All Terrain Edition pickup that I now drive.”


Advice for other parts managers and parts specialists?

“Customer satisfaction is the priority and always try to treat people right.”

“We have 21 drivers, three outside salesmen and our delivery radius is about 175 miles.”


What do you like most about being a parts manager?

“I like to give my staff the tools and environment they need to succeed and to help them enjoy what they do.”
