Tsunami Air Prep Kit verifies air quality

     Monticello, Minn.—Tsunami Compressed Air Solutions’ (www.tsunami.us.com) Air Prep Kit (part No. 21999-0938) provides the ability to verify that the air system being tested is supplying the quality of compressed air required for the job. The kit includes an air survey kit, which measures humidity, dew point, and air temperature, and a CFM test kit, which measures CFM usage at any tool with an easy-to-read graph.

 

Innovative Tools’ Scangrip wins SEMA New Product Award

     Las Vegas—Innovative Tools’ (www.innovativetools.com) Scangrip Sunmatch Colour Match LED, part of its lineup of color-matching lights, was the winner of the SEMA Show’s New Product Awards in the Collision Repair & Refinish Product category.

     The portable Sunmatch light offers up to three hours of run time and is easy to carry in a pocket or on a work belt, and is designed for paint, polish, cleaning or prep-zone operations. A replaceable glass lens is resistant to all kinds of solvents and stands up to daily cleaning.

 

AsTech2 is runner-up in SEMA New Products Award

     Las Vegas—Collision Diagnostic Services’ (www.astech2.com) next-generation asTech2 diagnostic tool was runner-up in the Collision Repair & Refinish Product category of the New Product Awards at the SEMA Show. The next-generation tool will cover nearly all makes and models 2008 and newer, including the newly added Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Subaru, and Volvo. The new tool begins shipping in early 2016.

     Using its patented asTech device, Collision Diagnostic Services’ ASE-Certified Master Technicians, who are trained to be virtual diagnosticians, can service the vast majority of trouble codes remotely and provide real-time remote assistance to shop technicians on an as-needed basis, according to the company.

     Las Vegas—RD Enterprises’ Uni-Dolly (www.uni-dolly.com) car dolly system, a portable jack stand that the company promises will free up a work bay, overhead hydraulic lifts, and floor jacks, was runner-up at the SEMA Show’s New Products Award in the Collision Repair & Refinish category. The dolly features six-inch swivel casters with sealed precision bearings to allow a disassembled drivetrain, chassis, subframe, or car body to be placed anywhere in the shop while waiting for parts.
