A season of growth for a stalwart industry supporter
With the arrival of spring comes change and new seasons of baseball, car club cruises, swap meets, sunburns and sun-bleached smiles.
For us, at Parts & People, it also brings a reorganization of our internal company structure, designed to bring the best to serve our readers and partners.
Most notably, it is with great pleasure that we announce Lance Buchner, our president, publisher and founder, is back in the game after some longstanding health issues. We also welcome the return of Parts & People veteran Shane Rohleder, who is assuming the position of Mountain regional manager after the departure of longtime associate publisher Mike Anderson. We wish Mike all the best in his new endeavors as we welcome back Shane and his enthusiasm for the industry.
In recent months, I have assumed the role of deputy publisher, in addition to my post as publications editor. In that time, I have enjoyed building and establishing relationships with our industry partners, catching up with old friends of the publication, and re-focusing our energies to serve the aftermarket and its interests with renewed vigor. Whether we’re messaging through sponsored content, digital marketing or traditional print advertising, Parts & People will continue to seek robust avenues best suited for the needs of our sponsors and partners.
Recent changes in our pages include increased use of photography, deployment of informational graphics, and layering of information for reader-friendly storytelling. We also welcome a rotating lineup of guest columnists to provide insights, fresh perspectives and tips for shop owners and managers. Parts & People wants to hear from you, too, and we encourage letters to the editor, feedback and story ideas to help us serve you better and what interests you most.
Spring also finds Parts & People in new downtown Denver offices with expansive views of the Rocky Mountain Front Range. We can’t think of a better backdrop to show up to work every day. Stop by and say hello.
After 32 years of publishing, Parts & People continues to adapt to the times, market forces, opportunities and challenges. As the aftermarket goes, so goes Parts & People — strong, resilient and ever-evolving to deliver the news and stories that challenge and continue inspire us.
We look forward to our collective, continued success, today and into the future. Spring has sprung.
