H&H Wholesale Parts celebrates 30th anniversary at Petersen Automotive Museum
Los Angeles, Calif.—The newly remodeled Petersen Automotive Museum set the stage for H&H Wholesale Parts 30th Anniversary celebration in March.
More than 150 invited guests and VIPs attended the event, held in the Bruce Meyer Family Gallery, which included food, a slide presentation showing how the Holmquist family business started and how it’s grown over the years, as well as close-up magic by Jeff Edmonds.
Representatives from ACDelco also presented the Holmquists with a plaque in appreciation of 30 years of dedicated service to the auto industry.
“I’d like to thank ACDelco for this award,” Jim Holmquist, H&H president, said. “They’ve been with us since the beginning. And for including my parents, Jerry and Saralyn, who are here with us, in the slide presentation.”
The highlight of the evening was the giveaway of a Polaris Slingshot SL, valued at $25,000. Five finalists, previously chosen at recent H&H open houses were given a key to start the vehicle.
Bob and Deanne Howle, of Bob Howle’s Automotive and RV in Lancaster, had the winning key. “I told my H&H ACDelco salesman, ‘I’m going to win this…it’s red, my favorite color,’ we’re thrilled,” Howle said.
The four runners-up won a weekend trip to the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Ariz.
